Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.

“You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother’s son.
You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.
Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.
You sit, maligning your brother, slandering your mother’s son.
You sit around, talking about your own siblings; you find fault with the children of your very own mother.
you sit and speak against your kinsman, you slander your own mother’s son.
you sat around gossiping, ruining the reputation of your own relatives.”
Thou sittest [and] speakest against thy brother, thou revilest thine own mother's son:
Deal favourably, O Lord, in thy good will with Sion; that the walls of Jerusalem may be built up.
You sit around talking about people, finding fault with your own brothers.
You say bad things about your own brother, and you speak against your own family!
You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.
You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son.
You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's son.
You sit around and speak against your brother and ·lie [L give a stain/fault] about your mother’s son.
Thou sittest, and speakest against thy brother, and slanderest thy mother’s son.

You are ready to accuse your own relatives and to find fault with them.
You sit, maligning your brother, slandering your mother’s son.
You speak against your brother. You lie about your mother’s son.
You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.
Thou didst sit and speak against thy brother; thou didst slander thine own mother’s son.
Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

You slander your own brother.
Next, God calls up the wicked: “What are you up to, quoting my laws, talking like we are good friends? You never answer the door when I call; you treat my words like garbage. If you find a thief, you make him your buddy; adulterers are your friends of choice. Your mouth drools filth; lying is a serious art form with you. You stab your own brother in the back, rip off your little sister. I kept a quiet patience while you did these things; you thought I went along with your game. I’m calling you on the carpet, now, laying your wickedness out in plain sight.
You sit and speak against your brother; you accuse your own mother’s son.

“You willingly speak against your brother and slander the child of your own mother.

You plot against your brother; you slander your own brother.
You are a witness against your brother. You always tell lies about your own mother’s son.
You sit and testify against your brother and slander your own mother’s son.
You sit and testify against your brother and slander your own mother’s son.

You sit around and slander your brother— your own mother’s son.
You sit and speak against your kin; you slander your own mother’s child.

Thou sitting spakest against thy brother, and thou settedest slander against the son of thy mother; (And thou sitteth down, and speakest against thy brother, yea, thou settest forth slander against thy mother’s son;)
